Message from Rev. Lehlohonolo Henrietta Montjane, MSW, Mdiv.
Sediba is a SeSotho word for well. A well is where people go to quench their thirst. As the President of Sediba,
I was brought up with the principles of Luke 12:48 “Much will be required from everyone to whom much has been given. But even more will be demanded from the one to whom much has been entrusted. "I was born in Soweto, South Africa where my parents were Anglican clergy who instilled in me that all God's people are to be treated with love and dignity. As an ordained United Methodist clergy, “I look upon the whole world as my parish” (John Wesley). Sediba is giving me an opportunity to live out my calling to ministry by serving God’s people throughout the world. Micah 6:8 asks “what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God”, which is my prayer for Sediba.
